The Department School of Design is housed in and Creative Technologies (SDCT) is located across three buildings: Doty Fine Arts (DFA), the Art Building (ART), and Anna Hiss Gym (AHG).
The MA in Design faculty and staff office and the dedicated MA in Design studio/classroom are housed in ART, alongside the Studio Art and Art Education programs. MA in Design graduate students have card-swipe access to the building and key access to their shared studio space and seminar spaces in the building. In addition, graduate students have access to many other departmental and university resources, including the following:

Graduate students in the Department of Design have access to the ART building with their proximity chip-enabled UT ID cards. Proximity card access to the building automatically terminates when a student graduates or is no longer enrolled.
