Colton Avila developed a tool for the Fishes of Texas Project to aid in the detection of incoming suspect records. The goal of the tool was to allow us (or our users outside the Fishes of Texas Project) to compare occurrence datasets to the vetted data held in the Fishes of Texas Project database to quickly detect and flag outlier (likely erroneous) records that should be examined for accuracy.
