Overview

These two cloud survey tools are approved for the broadest possible university data types are:

  1. Qualtrics - a generalized survey service permitting the creation of survey instruments, distribution of the surveys, data storage and analysis
  2. MS Forms - easily create surveys and polls to collect customer feedback, measure employee satisfaction, and organize team events.

.  You are strongly encouraged to use one of these tools when creating surveys for research, engaging external and/or internal audiences, and for all other Web-enabled survey instrument needs.  Both of these survey tools are free, require UT EID authentication, and can be shared with collaborators on campus or elsewhere.
