TIP OF THE MONTH: If you are creating a dual-axis gantt chart and you want to size the bars so that they are smaller or larger than one another, make sure you are using a different measure for each of the axes (for example planned duration on planned start date axis and actual duration on the actual start date axis) You can use colors not provided in the default color palettes by editing the colors of a color legend and then double-clicking on one of your values in the 'Select Data Item' section.
