This article includes instructions for how to remote login to your on-campus computer via common methods RDP, VNC, and SSH.
NOTE: Prerequisites do not apply to those attempting to access wincompute/Stat Apps Server. Please follow the instructions under "Signing into the Stat Apps Server" below.

- You must have permission to login to the computer remotely. This is turned off by default. If you don't have remote access, or if you're not sure if you do, create a ticket with CNS IT.
- You must know the computer name or IP address of your on-campus computer.
- You must have Duo Two Factor Authentication set up with a phone or code-generating token. See the FAQs for which Duo authentication methods are supported.
- For VNC and SSH connections, you must have the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for the UT VPN installed.
