To connect to the FileMaker Pro Server and access shared databases:

1. The first time you open FileMaker Pro you may get the following notice about the Firewall.  This is fine, just select "Cancel" can continue

2. In the File menu, select Hosts > Show Hosts

3. Select the "+"
   
   1. 
4. Enter the Host:  engr-fmp-0201.austin.utexas.edu & select Save

   MAY REMOVE THIS depending on SSL settings:  Select Always permit connection to this host & select Connect

5. Select your database and OK.

Filemaker Version 14

1. In the File menu, click Open Remote...
 In the window that opens, click Hosts

Click the + in the bottom left corner

Enter engr-fmp-01.austin.utexas.edu for both the Address and Name fields

2. Click Save
3. Select your database and click Open
