Contact the EDP Graduate Coordinator the semester prior to when you expect to graduation graduate to check in about plans. In the semester the degree is being completed, students must apply online to graduate via the Graduate School website.
Master's Students
At the beginning of the semester in which you will be finishing the degree:
Notify the EDP Graduate Coordinator that you will be graduating, so they can verify your coursework in the system and check on your graduation status can be verified.
If you are on a Thesis or Master’s Report degree plan: ensure you are enrolled in either EDP 698B (Thesis students) or EDP 398R (Report students).

Submit Graduation Application
If on a Master's Master’s Report or Thesis option: a Docusign version of the Master's Committee Approval Form is available on the EDP Forms page
Submit the Master’s Committee Approval Form to the Graduate School via email at GradStudentSVCS@austin.utexas.edu
Upload your Thesis/Report to the Grad School’s upload portal.
Doctoral Students
At the beginning of the semester in which you will be finishing the degree:

Ensure you are enrolled in the system and check on your graduation status Dissertation hours (EDP _99W). Note: if you are a CP/SCCP student on internship who successfully defended the dissertation prior to the graduating semester, you may qualify for an exception to the Dissertation enrollment.
