For a detailed Finder Chart and rotation setting see Kyle Kaplan's software. For rough rotations use the lookup table below.
393 363 = Default Encoder Setting at 90 deg. PA (slit east to west) (NOTE: Default encoder setting was 393, but changed to 363 after installation of rotator)
Position Angle (Start north and go east, N=0, E=90, S=180, W=270 degrees, Default = 90 deg slit oriented east-west)
(Encoder Setting) = 393 363 - 90 + (Position Angle) = 303 273 + (Position Angle)
Encoder should not go further than WARNING: We recommend you do not rotate the instrument +/- 180 90 degrees from the nominal 90 degree position andle to avoid entangling wires and hoses. The encoder setting limits are are:

For a 10,000K A0V star with H-K ~= 0, the IGRINS Exposure Time Calculator (Version 2.11) gives the following estimates. Based on the analysis in (INSERT CHAN PARK'S SPIE PAPER LINK HERE) IGRINS ETC v2.11 overestimates S/N, so it actually is ~83% of what IGRINS-ETC reports. This is reflected in the estimates below.
| Magnitude | 30s x 4 | 60s x 4 | 120s x 4 | 180s x 4 | 240s x 4 | 300s x 4 | 600 x 4 |
