The Information Security Office (ISO) requires LAITS to regularly update all University-owned computers.
Our goal is to make this process as convenient as possible but we must balance convenience with security.
Updates occur on a regular basis, and you will need to occasionally restart your computer to apply these updates. Please regularly save your work to minimize the impact of this process.
You can always check for updates on your own schedule by following these instructions: Click here for Mac and Click here for Windows/PC.
Windows/PC Users are encouraged to leave their computers on over the weekend so updates and restarts
