When Snagit launches

click on the CAPTURE button

The record console will launch.and you

Make sure that RECORD SYSTEM AUDIO is OFF

and RECORD MICROPHONE is ON

You can now click the RED Capture button

or use a keyboard shortcut to start a recording

You will now see a READY TO RECORD window.

This will let you verify that your SYSTEM AUDIO is ONOFF

and what MICROPHONE that USB Audio Device is being recorded.

You can now click press RETURN to start recording.

During a recording the Snagit logo in the menu bar will

turn RED. This gives you a visual that it is recording.

To STOP a recording click on the RED Snagit logo

and then click on Stop Recording.

The recording will be stored in the location

set in Snagit's Preferences.
