  1. Click  Click on the the Image  button button on the bottom.
  2. Choose  Choose your image – it will be added in the Image URL field.
  3. Add  Add an Image Description (this is the alt tag)
  4. Add  Add a Caption
  5. If your image will be floating to the left or not floating at all, fill in the Caption Class field with maincaption.
  6. Click on Insert at  Click on Insert at the top of the window.
  7. Carefully select (highlight) the caption text and image. Only the caption text and image should be selected (highlighted blue) – no other text in the article should be selected.
  8. Confirm you have selected correctly by seeing if the Format menu says Figure (this is the box where it tells you if you have a paragraph or an h2, etc.)
  9. Choose the desired float style from the Style menu. There is float-left and float-right.
  10. If you choose float-left, you are done. Save your changes and check the live site.
  11. NOTE: If you choose float-right, you will also need to add a class to the caption text. Carefully select only the caption text and select maincaption-right from the Style menu. Save your changes and check the live site.

 

  1.  Save the article and check that the styles are correct.
