Karakuri is the creation of paper models with simple mechanisms that allow for movement in interesting and fun ways. For my project, I made the Wild Wild West model from the book "Karakuri: How to make paper models that move" by Keisuke Saka. The book provided the instructions pictured below and the shapes needed to make the model. The tools I used were a glue stick, scissors, and a kitchen knife.
