Course announcements allow you to post messages and email your class. Any announcements you post will be displayed to the student when they first log in to Quest on their courses list. You can also choose to email students with the announcement information.
If your students have provided current emails to the UT EID system, you can push the posted announcement out in an email to the whole class. Students can update their contact information by updating their EID profile through the UT EID Self-Service page: https://idmanager.its.utexas.edu/eid_self_help/ and clicking "Manage My UT EID Profile"
