Step 1: WRITE THE AD

When composing the ad, please be sure to include:

  1. Position title (tenure or non-tenure, Assistant or Associate Professor, focus, etc.)
  2. Essential functions

  3. Necessary experience

  4. Required outline skill set
  5. Mission of our institution
  6. Proper contact information
  7. Department website

 

 

Step 2: GET IT PUBLISHED INSIDE UT

Step 2: Send full ad to Tatiana Artis  for posting on the UT Faculty Recruitment Web.

Tim will send you posting information and include a link on the Theatre and Dance website.

Step 3: GET IT PUBLISHED OUTSIDE UT

Step 3: Send full and truncated ads to Natasha Small for online and print publications.

Talk to Jessica about the search budget and desired publications. The following is a basic guide to past publications, their requirements, and ad durations. No search is required to place ads in any of these publications, nor limited to these choices. Once all ads are placed, Jessica will send a follow up to the Search Committee Chair with ad information, links, and dates of placement. It is the Search Committee Chair's responsibility to collect applications, answer questions, and follow up with candidates.
