Storage Consumption Measurement
- Tracking of storage consumption for UTBackup services begins December 1, 2011.
- Consumption is measured by snapshot of use from the top level org for each department.
- Snapshots will be taken at the end of each month.
Usage Reporting
- Monthly storage consumption reports will be emailed to the official billing contact of each top level organization.
- Report format will consist of organization name, total number of user accounts and total storage space consumed by the org.
How Bills are Calculated
- Storage totals from each monthly snapshot report during a fiscal year are added together, averaged and rounded up to the nearest GB.
- Billing invoices for the previous fiscal year will be issued starting in August, 2012.
- August storage use billing will be lumped into the next fiscal year calculation.
