To connect to the FileMaker Pro Server and access shared databases:

1. In the File menu, select Hosts > Show Hosts

2. Select the "+"
   
   1. 
3. Enter the Host:  engr-fmp-02.austin.utexas.edu & select Save
   1. 
      
4. MAY REMOVE THIS depending on SSL settings:  Select Always permit connection to this host & select Connect
5. Select your database and OK.

Filemaker Version 14

1. In the File menu, click Open Remote...
2.  In the window that opens, click Hosts
   
   
   
   
3. Click the + in the bottom left corner
   
   
   
   
4. Enter engr-fmp-01.austin.utexas.edu for both the Address and Name fields
   
   
5. 
   
   
6. Click Save
7. Select your database and click Open
