• Remove from department listservs and website

• Update systems

  • EOM, OHS, Mainframe 
  • If you work with CBS, please email your group with the name and EID to be removed
• Complete COLA Off-boarding Survey
  • Department/Unit Managers: please complete the survey for any staff or faculty leaving COLA and/or UT
  • College staff will remove employees from college-wide listservs

Ask employee to:

• Complete all timesheets in Workday before last day of work

• Ensure continuity with any university records

  • Share any owner level UT Box files or folders with someone else in the department as co-owner
    • If employee leaves before this happens, contact LAITS to become owner of box folder and request co-ownership acces
• Share Qualtrics surveys with relevant department staff
• Turn in equipment to department (laptop, tablet, etc.)
• Turn in keys at Lock and Key Services
• Cancel cards 
  • Pro-card Cancellation Request form
  • Travel Cards (individual, group, or conference)
    • Email tms@austin.utexas.edu with the name, EID, last six digits of card number, reason for closure, contact information for card reconciler
    • TMS processes cancellation and will notify department when processed
    • Card can be shredded at any point
