The Metadata Steering Committee will ensure coordinated, intentional, and consistent metadata practices across the UT Libraries by:
Establishing UT Libraries metadata strategy.
Creating and maintaining UT Libraries metadata policies, guidelines, and best practices.
Developing workflows for a seamless pipeline between content acquisition/creation, description, and access.
Providing training and support for staff who are creating metadata.
