Bin Sharing on Non Avid Storage - The editing application will notify you if your third party storage is emulating Avid NEXIS or Avid ISIS storage.

 

AVID Error:

Only in version 8.8.4 when using files off the EditShare will you see this message.

This system is using non-Avid storage that is emulating the Avid NEXIS/ISIS file system.

Bin Sharing for products emulating Avid NEXIS/ISIS storage can be enabled in General Settings

 

 

Enable now? - CHOOSE YES - all will be fine after that

 

 

To set this manually go to the Settings Tab in the AVID Project

Click on "General" Settings

 

 

Enable Bin Sharing on 3rd party storage emulating Avid NEXIS/ISIS

 

 

OK

These settings should all be checked.
