The VPN (Virtual Private Network) service
  provides network access for authorized users to certain internal IT
  resources while not connected to the university's network (e.g. remote
  connectivity from home or public Wi-Fi hotspot). This service is available to UT Austin faculty, students, staff,
  official visitors, and certain affiliated workers.

  desktop software allows a desktop computer to run in one location, while being
  accessed from another. Ex: you can access and interact with your university

Office
  365 mail is the cloud-based email and calendar system that is provided by ITS
  for UT Austin as part of the larger Office 365 application/productivity
  suite. It is NOT the same as the UTmail Gmail service, though addresses

ITS provides telephone and voices services (VoIP, analog and
  phones) to colleges and departments at university owned/leased facilities in
  greater Austin. All University VoIP
  phone lines have a Personal Telephone Conference Bridge also refered to as
  Meet Me Conference.  Meet-Me Conference
  bridge capacity is 10 participants (yourself + 9).
