These Guidelines are for Theatre and Dance (TAD) and College of Fine Arts (COFA) students, faculty, and staff looking to borrow costumes for the purposes of:

  • Class Projects and Assignments

  • TAD produced Studio/Lab Productions

  • Butler School of Music Opera Season

Appointments:

o   Who is coming to this appointment. There must be a costume designer or coordinator in charge of handling and maintaining costumes

o   contact information of the faculty or staff in charge of the class or studio project

o   What are you looking for? Period costumes? Modern costumes? Menswear, women's wear

Þ   Mainstage shows are given priority so some items may not be available to pull.

What can’t be borrowed

Costume Stock Management reserves the right to refuse any item for loan or rental.

Theft and Responsibility:

Items loaned to you are your responsibility and must be held in a secure location under lock and key. Lockers are located in the Winship building in the Brockett Dressing rooms and the 2nd floor bathroom. Under no circumstances should costumes be left visible in a car, in a classroom or studio. Items lost or stolen will be the responsibility of the borrower who will be charged the value of items lost.
