Batch Re-Size Images
Images must be downscaled for TMS web application. Standard ratio should be no larger than 1920 x 1920 px and 72 dpi resolution.
Initial Set Up Steps
Use the Adobe Bridge application for automated batch processing of image files.
- In Adobe Bridge use the "Essentials" workspace
- At the left, select the EXPORT tab and click Create New Preset
- Name the Preset as "TMS surrogates"
- Select the folder destination for the "Export To" option. Either in same folder, or select your own destination
- If you are exporting to the original file location, click to create a new subfolder named "TMS Surrogates" to separate them from your original files
- Select JPG as the Image Format and Image Quality = 10
- Select Resize To and designate the long edge to fit to 1920px, and 72 dpi resolution
- Tick Do Not Enlarge
- Include all original metadata
- Save the preset
Run a Batch Resize
- Open your files to re-size in Bridge or in Finder
- Select the files you'd like to re-size
- Drag and drop files over your named preset (TMS Surrogates)
- When the job is set, and the preset shows (1 Job, X files) click Start Process
- A progress window will appear and provide a link to view your exported files in the designated location
