Swim Meet Information
Event Entry Information
- An entry form will be e-mailed to all registered participants the week of the meet.
- Team captains may complete the entry form for all team members.
- Each participant, swimming either unattached or on a team roster, may enter a maximum of 3 swimming events.
- All swimmers may participate in the coed inner tube relay. It does not count for team points nor toward the 3 event limit.
- Teams may enter a maximum of 4 swimmers per individual event, and 1 team per relay event.
- Teams shall consist of a minimum of 4 swimmers and a maximum of 12 swimmers.
- There must be a minimum of 4 swimmers or 2 relay teams per event in order to award points and prizes.
- Teams may not add new swimmers to their roster after Noon on the day prior to the meet.
- Swimmers are responsible for reporting to the proper lane as their events are called. Heat sheets will be posted on the pool deck.
Order of Events – all events are Timed Finals
- 200 medley relay (backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, freestyle)
- 200 freestyle
- 50 freestyle
- 100 Individual Medley (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle)
- 50 butterfly
- 200 coed inner tube relay (any 2 males/2 females)
- 100 freestyle
- 50 backstroke
- 50 breaststroke
- 400 freestyle
- 200 freestyle relay
Scoring
- Scoring for each event will be for the top 8 times as follows: 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1
- Relays will also be scored using this system.
- The inner tube relay will not count for points, and any 4 swimmers (2 male/2 female) may create a team.
Awards & Photos
- The overall winner of each event in the Men’s and Women’s divisions will receive an Intramural Champion T-shirt.
- Any members of the winning Men’s and Women’s teams who were not event winners will receive an Intramural Champion T-shirt.
- Photos of the Men’s and Women’s team champions will be taken. Participants must be present at the conclusion of the meet for the photo.
