Multi-Function Printer Scan to Email Migration

Overview

In advance of the migration of Office365 email services in October, we migrated scan to email functionality on multi-function printers to the ITS Mail Relay service. This is a change in the infrastructure that sends your scans to email addresses. The email address your scanner uses were updated to an @utexas.edu address, reflecting the printer's location. The process of scanning a document to email at a printer and your printer's address book did not change.

When

This migration was completed on Tuesday, August 8th.

What do I need to do?

There is no action necessary on the part of faculty or staff for this migration.

The update to your printer's settings was done remotely and silently.

How do I get help?
