Orientation

Departmental orientation for the fall semester typically starts on the Wednesday before classes begin and continues through the day before classes. Orientation for incoming students is mandatory. Emails will be sent in late spring/early summer for orientation dates and agenda. 

At orientation, students will register for fall classes, discuss supervisor selection, PhD course requirements, insurance, and other relevant topics. Faculty will also give research presentations of projects available for the fall.
