Arrest Policy
See HOP 5-1140 section VII, I, 1&2a
University employees must report to their supervisor in writing, within five business days, any arrest, criminal charge, criminal complaint, information, indictment, no contest plea, guilty plea, criminal convictions, deferred adjudication, periods of probation, or whether the employee is registered as a sex offender or will be required to register as a sex offender occurring after the date of application, excluding misdemeanor offenses punishable only by fine.

Worker’s Compensation and Workplace Injuries
Employees that have been injured on the job should immediately notify their supervisors.

Compliance Training
General Information
Managers are responsible for ensuring that your employees complete their required compliance training. Compliance training is intended to help employees gain an understanding of the laws, rules, and policies that govern employees when they carry out official duties. Required compliance training may be found in either UTLearn.

Cybersecurity training requirements for University contractors
University contractors who have access to controlled or confidential information and data are now required by HB 3834 to complete a cybersecurity training program. Colleges, schools, and units (CSUs) who hire contractors are also required to certify that these individuals have completed the required training. Title IX
The University is committed to providing an educational and working environment free from sexual misconduct. See HOP 3-3031: Prohibition of Sex Discrimination, Sexual Harassment, Sexual Assault, Sexual Exploitation, Sexual Misconduct, Interpersonal Violence, and Stalking for policy details.
Per SB 212, all employees should report incidents of which they have direct or indirect knowledge to the Title IX Office. If the Title IX Office determines that the incident does not meet the guidelines for pursuance under Title IX, they will refer it to another appropriate campus office to be investigated under university or other applicable policies.
