Set the following System Preferences to set the Apple Mouse to work correctly with AutoDesk Maya
Go to >Apple System Preferences
Mouse
Change the Button configuration to look like this
Change the Middle Mouse Buttton
Middle mouse button should be set to Button 3 not "Off"
