JAMF - How to un-enroll a computer / Delete the MDM Profile - Then Re-Enroll the computer
User Initiated
Login to the computer as an administrator (ex commpower) | |
Go to >General >Device Management >MDM Profile and choose Unenroll |  |
Click on Remove Enter the admin password again and then all the Global Policies will get uninstalled |  |
To re-enroll | go to: |
Enter your EID and PW |  |
You can leave User blank Choose the site in our case COMM Click Enroll |  |
Click Continue |  |
The profile will download double click it to install |  |
You will get this message that we need to go the the profiles in System Settings to install Click OK |  |
Then go to >Apple System Settings |  |
>General >Device Management >MDM Profile Double click the profile downloaded |  |
Choose Install and follow the prompts The installer will start and will take a minute to get the information from Apple School Manager about what End Point Manager to enroll in then (after a bit of a wait) You will have to enter another admin password then the profiles will get installed properly. The computer will get re-enrolled into COMM-EPM JAMF or whatever department was chosen |  |
