Blackmagic Desktop Video - How to Connect with Hardware - Mac

Blackmagic Desktop Video is installed and opens but will not connect to the Blackmagic Hardware

 

Error No Desktop Video Device Detected

Go to >Apple>System Settings

Go to General>Login Items and Extensions

Go to Blackmagic Design Desktop Video

>If it is on toggle it off

>You will have to put in Admin UN and PW

Once it is off then turn it back on

Scroll down to Extensions

>Camera Extensions

click on the

Turn on

Blackmagic Desktop Video Driver Extension

enter UN and PW again

click on Open System Settings

Next in

Extensions look for Driver Extensions

Turn on the Blackmagic Desktop Video Driver Extension

 

Put in commpower UN and PW then click Done

The result will be the hardware is detected
