Open the bin with all your linked footage
Select all of the clips | |
Right click on the clips and choose >Source Settings |
|
Choose Color Encoding tab AVID Auto detects the Sony footage and should apply the correct LUT For Sony FX6 footage shot log a good LUT to use is the S-Log3/S-Gamut3Cine to Rec-709
If you do see a issue and the footage looks like it’s blown out or too dark check to make sure that you do not have multiple LUTS applied Remove all the LUTS except the Sony S-Log3
Also look at the Source Color Space options and Try both the S-Log3 / S-Gamut3 and S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine
For Example test using the Source color space S-Log3 / S-Gaut3.Cine Click the Auto button Look at the footage and see if you like the LUT that was applied If you like it click on Apply If you do not like it try the other source color space
Choosing the other Sony - Source color space Sony S-Log3 / S-Gamut3 then click on Auto and see if that LUT looks better. If that looks better then click Apply
If you don’t like any of the LUTS you can remove them To remove it choose the color transformation and choose Delete >Apply to All and then Click OK to get out of the source settings menu. |
|
If you already have a timeline using the clips prior to removing the LUTS then you need to right click the sequence and choose >Refresh Sequence>All That should update the clips in the timeline to the current look of the clips w/o the weird other LUTs applied |
