Installing Xming (X11) on Windows
Step 1:Â Installing Xming X11 on Windows
 1. Locate the downloaded Xming installer, double-click to open it, and follow the on-screen instructions
2. The default installation path is suitable. Click Next
3. In the Components section, please select Full installation from the drop down box and click Next
4. Create a shortcut in the Start menu and then click Next
5. Although optional, it is recommended to Create a desktop icon for Xming on your Desktop and/or Quick Launch location
6. Click on the Install box in the Ready to Install screen
7. Click on the Finish box in the Completing the Xming Setup Wizard screen
Installing Additional Fonts
It is recommended to install the additional fonts package for Xming at http://sourceforge.net/projects/xming/files/Xming-fonts/
The installation process is identical to the process mentioned above. Be sure to select all available fonts at the Select Components screen.
Note: make sure the installation directory path matches the initial Xming directory path. There may be a message alerting the installation already exists. If this occurs, simply select OK or Continue
There should now be an Xming icon your desktop . Double-click the icon to start the X11 server. You should now also see an Xming icon located in your system tray (lower-right corner of system).
