Using the SSH Gateway (SSHG)

SSHG is now available

As of 7/18/2024 the SSH Gateway is ready to be used, and allows access to systems with Protected General Network profiles


The SSH Gateway (SSHD) is a service that allows you to remotely use the ssh protocol to connect to an Engineering system which has an ssh server configured.

  • You must have permissions to remote into the computer
  • The computer must be powered on and connected to the UT network (wireless is an option)
  • The SSH service must be configured on the system and allow connections from the SSHG IP address, 128.83.254.23
  • The client system must have the SSH client configured to use the SSHG and have a web browser for logging into the SSHG with two-factor authentication
