Adding Questions to the Public Banks

New Feature!

Writing thoughtful questions can be a challenge, so we encourage users to take pride in their work. If you have a question that you think would be of interest to other users, you can request the question be reviewed for inclusion in a public bank. Simply click "Request Item for Promotion" on the question's editor page.

Items will be reviewed primarily on the clarity of the question, answer options, and explanation. Some level of randomization is preferred to minimize the exposure of the question, however this is not a requirement. If the question has an extensive code portion, there might be necessary follow-up to ensure succinct and correct logic.

Alternatively, if you're willing, you could also just file questions into the appropriate public bank:

1) When working on a problem in Editor (https://quest.cns.utexas.edu/editor/), navigate to the 'bank' tab (notice: this can be done before the question is published, but it will only be findable once published)

2) Select the appropriate itembank, chapter, and section. Then click search.

3) You will get confirmtion that this problem is in the designated bank after pushing search!

Thank you for contributing to the public banks!
