Post Exposure Procedure – General

 

 

  • Wash wound with soap and water

  • Tell supervisor

  • Call EHS at 512-471-3511 ASAP

Post exposure medical follow-up may include:

  • HBV/HCV and HIV initial blood testing

  • Antiviral medications

  • Repeated blood testing may continue for at least six months
