University Wiki Service (UWS)

Contracts' Virtual Server Administration:

• provided Rob Brooks access to totoro
• assistance to Michael Wang in retrieval of logs on capps
• investigated reason totoro was inaccessible via ssh
  • CPU on virtual server had >99% utilization
    • restarted virtual server and services on the VM (Apache and Sphinx)
  • the applications on this server are not currently in production, but Contracts plans on using this virtual server in the future, need to determine what caused the CPU to throttle so high

Upcoming:

• determine what applications currently on capps should migrate to totoro (new Contracts' applications virtual server)
  • determine who will do the migration
• shift virtual server administration duties to ITS Systems

PyPE
