Common Problems
Solidworks won't install onto my Apple computer
Solidworks only works in Windows which is why we specify Windows in the ME laptop requirements. If you have an Apple, you can run Windows in BootCamp or as a Virtual Machine. For either, you can get a copy of Windows from http://www.engr.utexas.edu/itg/products/434-microsoft-dreamspark-premium
- Setting up BootCamp - https://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
- Setting up a VM - https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch01.html#gui-createvm
