Department Chair
The chair of the Chemical Engineering Department, Delia Milliron, is appointed by the Dean of the Cockrell School of Engineering and sets policies on a variety of academic and research issues and administers the department’s budget.
Graduate Advisor
The graduate advisor, Lea Hildebrandt Ruiz, is appointed by the faculty and is responsible for the graduate program in the department, advising graduate students who intend to obtain a degree in chemical engineering. The graduate advisor is also the chair of the departmental Graduate Studies Committee. The Recruitment Advisor, Brian Korgel, is appointed by the faculty, and is responsible for admitting and recruiting talented graduate students.
Graduate Studies Committee
The GSC consists of all members of faculty in the department who are eligible to solely supervise students. All dissertation committees must include at least three of these members. For 2020-21 the list is as follows:

Graduate Coordinator
The graduate coordinator, Anna Claire Eddington (she/her), is the member of staff responsible for all administrative duties surrounding the graduate program.
Graduate Leadership Council
The Graduate Leadership Council is an elected group of students who represent the student body to faculty, staff, and the wider university, assists with student recruitment, and organizes social and outreach events for graduate students in the department. Elections are held annually in September.
