Summer 2024 | |
April 8 - April 19 | Registration for continuing and readmitted students. |
May 7 | Fee bills electronically distributed. Students notified by email. |
May 29- May 31 | Continued registration for continuing and readmitted students. |
June 4- June 5 | Registration for all students (For all summer sessions) |
June 11 | Tuition and fee payment due by 5 p.m. Students with zero bills must confirm their registration via the Web to prevent cancellation. |
July 12- July 18 | Registration for students enrolling for second session only. Tuition and fees must be paid or zero bills confirmed by 5 p.m. on July 18. |
July 15 | Last day for new doctoral candidates to change registration in research hours to dissertation hours. |
August 2 | Last day to apply for a graduate degree. Last day a doctoral candidate may hold a dissertation defense for summer 2024. |
August 16 | Last day to submit final paperwork to the Graduate School for graduation. |

August 26 - Sept. 11 | Delete drop period. |
August 29 | Tuition and fee payment due by 5 p.m. Students with zero bills must confirm their registration via the Web to prevent cancellation. |
Sept. 11 | The Twelfth Class Day. Last day to add/drop a course with a refund, |
Sept. 12 - 23 | Q drop period. Courses may be dropped without academic penalty. |
Sept. 24 - Dec. 6 | Q/F drop period. Dropping a course requires the approval of the instructor, who must assign a "Q" or "F," the Graduate Adviser and the Graduate Dean. |
Nov. 15 | Last day to apply for a graduate degree. |
Nov. 22 | Last day a doctoral candidate may hold a dissertation defense for fall 2024. |
Nov. 25 | Last day to change grade status to or from the credit/ no credit basis. |
Dec. 6 | Last day to submit final paperwork to the Graduate School for graduation. |
Dec. 9 | Last class day. This is the last day to drop a class or withdraw from the fall semester. |
