The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid offers various forms of financial assistance to students attending The University of Texas at Austin. They offers two types of financial aid awards: (1) gift aid, which includes grants and scholarships, and (2) self-help aid, which includes the College Work-Study Program and long-term loans.
To apply for financial aid, students must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available from the Office of Student Financial Services. Applications must be submitted each year the student seeks financial aid.
