Google Geocode API
The Geocoding API is a helpful tool for determining physical address using a set of coordinates or determining a set of coordinates by using a physical address (Reverse Geocoding). When using the Geocode function, formulas can be applied using trigonometry to determine distance in any measurement. Although Google offers API’s that can calculate distance, using this manual method avoids the costs and limitations associated with the API when there are a vast number of datapoints. Overall, the Geocoding API is a useful tool in many different use cases.
