Greetings Winship,

Please note that we will have a hot water outage in The Winship Drama Building on Friday, 3/30/12.

Zone 2 maintenance crews are shutting the hot water down so that they can safely repair a leak.

Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.

Thank you,

The Directing search committee is bringing in four finalists for interviews with the department over the next two weeks. In order of appearance, the candidates are John Langs, Brooke O’Harra, Sarah Rasmussen, and Bob Egan. The search committee chair, Steven Dietz will send more details to the faculty in advance of the interviews.

Brant returned earlier this month from a successful trail blazing trip to Australia. The Patch Theatre and the Windmill Theatre in Adelaide are both very interested in collaborating with the department on future endeavors. The department is laying the groundwork with these two theaters to bring an expert from Australia to UT to develop a piece focusing on the 0-8 year old youth audience, a field that has no post-graduate training in the United States.
