Current Faculty will begin receiving notifications on April 1st, followed by a second notice on 4/9 April 9th. Current Faculty will be required to change their password by April 23rd, 2019. The university is not extending the deadline or granting exceptions for to this deadlinecampaign.
If your password is not updated by then April 23rd, your EID will be locked and you will not be able to access certain UT services or applications.

The UT Service Desk offers phone support (512-475-9400) Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm and in person from 8am - 6pm in the Flawn Academic Center (FAC). The ECE-IT can provide assistance by guiding you through this process, but we have limited access EID accountsgroup does not have elevated access to assist unlocking EIDs, but we can guide you through the EID password change process.
- Changing your EID password will impact applications such as: UTDirect, Workday, Office 365 (web, mobile apps, Outlook), UT Wi-Fi, UT VPN.
- Make note of all your devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc), your EID credentials will need to be updated.
