How to Access Content
In the left-hand corner of the top toolbar, click Content. (You will see fewer options than are shown in the figure below.)
How to Filter Existing Content
Drupal offers several ways to find an already-created piece of content.
- “Title” searches every word in the title of your content.
- “Type” will pull content based on the type of information. This will be most helpful for people working with courses, events, professional development, publications, and stories.
- “Author” lets you view everything by a specific author; i.e., if you want to see only content you’ve created, enter your username in the Author field.
- “Published” allows you to filter by content publication status; i.e., if you want to see only content that is currently unpublished, select “No”
These fields do work together to create more precise filtering, as needed. For instance, if I want to see a Story I wrote about Cynthia Osborne that I haven’t published yet, I could enter “Osborne” into the Title field, select “Story” under the Type drop-down, enter my username in the Author field, and select “No” on the Published drop-down.
