Once students complete their oral exam and submit the signed form to the graduate coordinator, they can apply for doctoral candidacy online: https://gradschool.utexas.edu/academics/theses-and-dissertations/doctoral-candidacy
Candidacy applications will not be approved by the graduate advisor until the Oral Examination Form and an Annual Report have been received for the academic year.
