Selecting the TeX Open option on the Create a Question page will bring you to a rather nondescript page which will allow you to create a few different types of questions. Regardless of the style of TeX Open question you would like to create, there are certain lines that are required for this question type. The body field must contain the designation of where the question body and explanations are as demonstrated below.
The code field must at least contain a specification of the expected answer, the syntax depends on the type of response you would like from students. For more information about the code portion response type you'd like to create, please see the corresponding page:
