Advanced Question Types
The advanced question types all use TeX formatting. Each type is available for use on all types of assignments, are automatically graded by default, and have the ability to have multiple parts to a question:

| This question type primarily supports the usage of matrix elements to be used for creating free response matrix elements.

Numerical TeX | A numerical free response question that grades with a default of 1% deviation from the provided answer. | code portion for the generation of the question | high |
Algebraic Free Response | Expects an algebraic equation as an answer. X+1 is the same thing as 1+X, but π is not the same as 3.14 (values must be exact). | global free answer type and specific syntax for the correct answer | med |
Regardless of the style of TeX question you would like to create, there are certain lines that are required for this question type. The code field must at least contain a specification of the expected answer and the syntax depends on the type of response you would like from students.
