Many error messages are complicated, and don't mean much to end users. If you are When encountering error messages, you can take your computer to the SWAT Shop. If you have a McCombs notebook, they will be able to work on your computer. If you do not own a McCombs notebook, they will consult with you without actually touching your computer. They may send you on to another resource for help. If you do not own a McCombs notebook, you can also go to the ITS Help Desk for assistancefaculty and staff can put in a tech request at www.mccombs.utexas.edu/tech. Students may visit the SWAT Shop (CBA 1.328) for assistance or visit the ITS Help Desk.
