Instructions for MacOS

1. First, connect  connect using the UT VPN Service
2. Download Microsoft Remote Desktop from the Mac app store.
3. Open the Remote Access Gateway
4. Select the the UTSOA Remote Access Computer Classroom Lab

5. Select the Connect button to chose a workstation from the WMB Lab.

6. Download the connection file.
   
   
7. To open the connection file, Go to your Downloads folder and right click on the file.
8. Select Open With, and then Microsoft Remote Desktop
9. If you do not see the Microsoft Remote Desktop application, click on other and search in the Applications folder.
   
   
10. Enter Austin\EID and then EID password, and select Continue.
    

    

11. Select Yes if you are presented with a Certificate Error.
    
    
    
    
12. Read and Accept the University Acceptable use policy.

    Please Note: Students will be logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity. You are responsible for saving your work to the cloud to avoid data loss.

13. When you're done with your work and want to send your session, right click Start, select Disconnect or Sign Out.
    
    
14. You have successfully signed out.
