- Form dissertation committee in consultation with supervisor and set date and location for oral exam two 2-3 months in advance
- Give research proposal to committee at least one week 2 weeks prior to oral exam, for review
- Submit Chemical Engineering Candidacy Examination + Rubric Form electronically to the graduate coordinator at least one week prior to the exam for approval by the graduate advisor
- Prepare presentation following the time requirements above
- Bring printed Chemical Engineering Candidacy Examination Form signed by graduate advisor
- Submit completed form to the graduate coordinator

- Register for -99R, and the next semester register for -99w.99W
- Continue to register for -99w 99W every semester, including the semester you graduate
