Hey, Attachments Aren't Working Properly?!?!

Maybe you have gone to an issue and find that attachments aren't showing up properly, like in the below screenshot. And maybe when you download an attachment, the file type is missing and you can't open it...

This is a known issue. If you need your attachments fixed on an issue, send an email

If You Use Initiatives & Epics

The new cloud instance of Jira does not track the link between Initiatives and Epics. The various teams in AIS will be recreating those links for existing Initiatives/Epics as "Linked Issues" relationships. If you are creating new Initiatives or Epics, there are a few steps to link them properly:

When Creating an Epic

  1. in the Create Issue window click the Configure Fieldsbutton in the upper right and make sure that Linked Issues is checked.
  2. fill out your fields as you normally would
  3. scroll down to the Linked Issues drop down
  4. select Epic for
  5. in the issue box, search for the Initiative you wish to link to.
